RESERVING A KITTEN
Once You Have Decided
To make one of our TICA Ragdoll kittens a family member, you may place a deposit of $300 plus $9 service fee using the PayPal button at the bottom of this page. This deposit will go towards your final adoption balance. During kitten selection, you will have the opportunity to join a Kitten Selection list on the Kitten Nursery Page.

When the kittens are 5 weeks old, we post their first portraits to the Kitten Nursery. You will be able to see early signs of what the kitten’s coat and color looks like. Each family on the Reservation List will be contacted in turn and have the opportunity to join this Kitten Selection List with an additional $500 deposit, or defer for a future selection.
When the Kitten Selection list is full, all other Reservation List families will have the option to be listed as Waitlist on Kitten Selection with no additional deposit.
At 8 weeks old we post several pictures of each litter including pictures of each individual kitten. You will be able to see clearly what the kitten’s coat and color looks like. Selection is made based on video and portraits of available kittens posted on the Kitten Nursery Page. Each family on the Kitten Selection list will be contacted in turn and have the option to select a kitten, or defer and move up in priority for the next Kitten Selection.
All deposit payments are nonrefundable and are applied to your final adoption balance.

FINAL PAYMENT
The final balance for your kitten is due at 10 weeks of age. We also accept cash at the time of pickup. Maryland State sales tax of 6% will be added to the total.

Kittens are ready to go to their new homes at 12 weeks of age, only after being health checked by our vet, up to date on vaccines & deworming, microchipped, and fully weaned.
Our preference is in-person pickup.

If you are unable to pick up your new kitten from us in Maryland:
Ground transportation within the eastern U.S. may be available. Contact us with your zip code for a quote.
We are able to offer Pet Nanny flight service to most major U.S. airports. The cost includes a pet carrier, our mileage to the Airport, plane ticket, veterinarian wellness certificate to fly and the Flight Nanny service.
The 6% Maryland sales tax will be removed from the final balance due for kittens who choose delivery service outside Maryland.

2026 Reservation List
Kitten selection is made in the order of the Reservation List. When the kittens are around 5 weeks old, we will email each family on the Reservation List in turn. You will have the opportunity to join the current selection list or
move up in priority for the next selection.
Ragdolls are full of love and happiest when with a friend. We recommend our kittens as pairs!
We offer a $200 discount when you adopt a Ragdoll pair
or for returning Coppermine Ragdoll family members.
We expect kittens throughout the year – Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall.

If you choose not to place an additional deposit on January 1st after your first full year, your reservation will be placed on hold. You can rejoin the Reservation List at any time by placing a $300 deposit and receive the
Join Now list position.
